NAVIGATING THIS SITE...
Though different from other automotive parts search engines you may be more familiar with, navigating this site in order to find a needed part is a simple and accurate procedure once you understand that it works through a process of selective filtering, based on the search criteria fed into it. (The information you provide) This not only ensures that you will locate the right part but also provides you with other information such as the full range of applications a part number fits... Let's get started!
Starting on the Home page which is the first page to open up and click on one of the sub -pages at the top showing the three main product categories, namely; Catalytic Converters, Clutch Kits, Cooling Products. (Disregard the Search feature on the Home page unless you want to search for more than one product category for your car.) When the page for the category you clicked on, opens up you will see a complete listing of items for sale for that particular category only. You will now begin the process of selectively filtering or eliminating all but the part number(s) needed for your particular application.
In the Search Box at the top left hand corner of this particular page enter the Make , Model and Year of the vehicle for the part requested . Data entered is not case sensitive so don't concern yourself with capitalization or lowercase letters. More importantly, enter this data with a single space between each and every word, letter groups or number series, e.g. Buick Somerset Regal 1987 or Chevrolet S-10 Blazer 1985 since 'spaces' are interpreted as "and" statements. No commas please and in this word order. Another example might be: Eagle 2000 GTX 1994; or Mitsubishi 3000 GT 1998. Note how a single space separates each word,(Buick etc.) letter group, (GTX etc.) and number series (1985 etc.) Enter this information just as it would appear in a catalog heading or on a car's manual. Note: Model names such as Grand Prix, Le Mans, El Camino and others are two words and require a space between them. Hyphenated letters followed by numbers; e.g. S-10, J-2000, C-1500, F-150 and such do not have a space between them but are treated as a single word. *Fullsize versions of certain vehicles are indicated with a forward slash / between the model name and term 'Fullsize' such as GMC Jimmy/Fullsize; Chevrolet Blazer/Fullsize and then of course the 'year'. Nissan and Datsun listings are combined as Nissan-Datsun to agree with catalog headings. For purposes of consistency the model term 'Pickup' will be shown as one word and not hyphenated even though catalog references to this term may include a dash(-) or hyphen on certain makes and models. Certain makes may be listed under the predominant family heading and are not listed separately .So when searching for GMC trucks for example ; check the corresponding year and engine size under CHEVROLET. The same may hold true when searching for certain FORD and MERCURY applications as well. Do not abbreviate- using such common terms as 'Chevy' 'Vette' 'T-BIrd' and such, since the data base can only search for a corresponding match to the information it contains and will kick out anything that it doesn't recognize. Once you are sure you have spelled the Make and Model and Year correctly, have not abbreviated any of its designation and put a space between each word or number 'series' click on the Search button. It will immediately take you to new page that will list everything in that category that answers to the information ( Make, Model and Year of the vehicle) you entered. Do not include the term 'Truck' or Van' in this search since the model name alone will link you to the appropriate listing. Do not enter the engine size or cylinder configuration or other search criteria as well at this time since this information will be included with the search results from the criteria you entered which will now help you to narrrow or refine your search.
After this new page opens up click on the picture(s) for the part number(s) shown in order to narrow your search and ascertain the right part number for your car based on the addtional details provided such as engine displacement, cylinder configuration and more.
